Requests sent April 15, 2008:1. Pilot Preschool teachers course took place April 6-12. Thank you so much for your prayers. God gave focus for preparations and freedom in teaching this group of experienced preschool teachers. They were much appreciative of the course and gave good input for a few improvements. The preschool Sunday School video last Sunday was amazing! Though we only had four children and obly one had English as her mother language the children were very natural and responsive. God gave Jennifer and me unity as we team taught these little ones. 5 year old Savannah shared that she had put her trust in Jesus last week. God answered your prayers! I am planning to use this video or at least some clips from it in my teaching about the preschool child in our Leadership Institute training this summer and autumn.
2. Please pray for my May 20th appointment with Dr Müller as we discuss the results of the bone density scan and decide whether or not I will be taking (Femara letrozole) - I have been doing some internet research and have some more questions about the side effects. If you know of others who have experience with this drug, I would appreciate their input.
3. Pray for God to direct my steps during my time in the States. I am in the greater Cleveland Akron area April 18 - 29/ then I am at the CEF International Conference April 30 - May 5/ then I have family time - including a trip to Arizona for my nephew’s graduation May 6 - 12 pray that I will be aware of opportunities God gives to share Christ with family - neither Emil nor Nancy, nor my nephews Ben and Dan know Jesus / and then I return to Cleveland - Akron until my departure on May 17.
Note: tonight some of us ladies at the CEF center will be visiting a coworker’s wife for a crafts night. Claudia enjoys teaching crafts and painting and I’m looking forward to a good time of fellowship. A couple of the ladies coming with are at-home moms and we don’t see them that often either. 4. Please keep praying for God’s provision for my 2008 budget increase. It is greater, because of the weak dollor. But our God is greater than even this.
