Here are a few updated prayer requests and praises:

1. We return to Bosnia in just 4 1/2 weeks (July 22) and we have begun packing. Please PRAY for efficiency and wisdom in packing, especially to know what we should take to Bosnia, what we should leave in the States in storage and what we should get rid of. PRAY that we can get everything over to Bosnia within the amount of luggage we are allotted.

2. PRAISE that Timothy got his driver’s license. PRAY for Jonathan that he can pass his test before we leave. PRAY for no complications with Timothy getting his wisdom teeth out in early July and for a quick recovery.

3. PRAISE God that we now have all the funds we need to purchase a vehicle when we return to Bosnia. PRAY for just the right one that is a good price, in good condition and gets good gas mileage.

4. PRAY for wisdom which ministry commitments I should make; I’ve been asked to teach a new course at one of the Bible schools, but really need to make good progress on Bible translation and the editing of the other biblical reference materials and need much wisdom in deciding how to invest my limited time.

5. PRAY for a church for us to attend when we return to Bosnia.

Thank you for standing with us for Him.

Dear friends,

This is our last prayer letter to you while we are still in the States on furlough since we return to Bosnia July 22. It has been a good year and we are thankful that we’ve been able to see many of you and share at the churches which support the work in Bosnia. We have a few more times to speak as indicated by the underlined dates on our prayer
calendar on the back. Thank you to each one who had us over for a meal, brought food, housed us, shared your stuff, and served us in many other ways. We really appreciate it!

I graduated from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with an MA in Biblical Languages, and hope to begin a PhD in NT on our next furlough in 2010. On that furlough we plan to get Timothy and Jonathan settled into college. They do not yet know where they will attend, but we’ve had a chance to visit several schools, including Columbia International University, Liberty University, Midwestern Baptist College and LeTourneau University.

Timothy is interested in computer science and missions, and Jonathan is interested in art and missions. Elizabeth did well in orchestra this semester and we trust she can use this at church in Bosnia. Daniel is healthy and bringing us great joy. We’re very thankful for him.
When we get back to Bosnia, I will dive back into the translation work on the Bosnian Bible. We are currently working on a draft of 1-3 John. In addition, there are a
number of books and reference articles that I will work on editing and that we will put on our web site or print. These include continued work on Gesenius’ Hebrew Grammar, Basics of Biblical Greek Grammar, Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics: An Exegetical Syntax of the New Testament, Old Testament Exegesis, 1-3 John: Comfort and Counsel to a Church in Crisis, introductions to Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Acts, Soul to Soul: A Biblical Study on Leadership, and Westminster’s morphology of the Hebrew OT. These are being translated into Bosnian or Croatian.

Financially, we still lack $2000 per month for our missionary support, and $7000 in one-time gifts to buy a van since we do not have a vehicle in Bosnia.
Thank you for praying for these needs.

Todd, Pamala,
Timothy (17),
Jonathan (16),
Elizabeth (13),
Matthew (9),
Kirsten (4) &
Daniel (2 mos.) Price
